Why I like it: Laid back environment, kids have the option to do what they choose.
2. Castle Rock Indoor Water Park
Cost: 3+ years - $15 for day pass

Why my kids like it: The slides and waterfalls always keep them busy.
Why I like it: The kids area has shallow water for easy and independent play.
3. Ozark Mountain Family YMCA (Gymnastics Open Gym)
Cost: $3/Members - $5/Non-members
Hours: Friday 10:00 - 11:00 AM
Why my kids like it: Plenty of space to get all of their energy out.
Why I like it: They always have an instructor on the floor so your children can work with them on drills, or the kids can free play.

Why my kids like it: They love to play "robbers" in the wood train.
Why I like it: It is an easy to navigate course that we all enjoy.
5. Branson Chick-fil-A
Cost: Free, but I do encourage you to grab a snack or meal for the family with your visit!
Hours: Monday - Saturday 6:30 AM - 10:00 PM
Why my kids like it: They love play in the pretend helicopter and car, and of course sliding time after time.
Why I like it: They are contained in the play area, if I can snag one of the tables up next to the play area wall I can enjoy my food or drink and visit with mom friends while the kids play.
6. The Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure
Cost: Locals pay $5 admission to enjoy a full day of fun! You will need a local ID or pay stub to prove residency.
Hours: Open Daily 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Why my kids like it: They love finding their way through the mirror maze, helping to release butterflies, and getting to feed the butterflies!
Why I like it: I enjoy sitting and watching the butterflies flying around, it is very relaxing!
7. Taneyhills Community Library

Why my kids like it: My kids love story times and reading books in the "tree room" as they like to call it!
Why I like it: I like that the kids area is sectioned off from the rest of the library so the kids can enjoy themselves without bothering the other patrons!
8. Open Gym Times at FBC Life Center
Cost: $2 for a day pass
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Why my kids like it: They can run around and play ball!
Why I like it: I love how much energy they can burn off in such a short time running their little hearts out!
9. Creation Experience Museum
Cost: Free!
Hours: Wednesday - Saturday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Why my kids like it: They love to see all the dinosaurs!
Why I like it: I like that it is typically fairly quiet and a simple guided tour. We always learn something new!
10. Kids' Climbing Area & Sky Tykes at Fun Mountain (Big Cedar)
Cost: $5/person
Hours: Sunday - Thursday 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday - Saturday 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Why my kids like it: They love the slides!
Why I like it: The decorations at Fun Mountain always get their imaginations going! By the time we leave they are either pretending to be pirates or on an under sea adventure!
